And as the wheel of the seasons keeps turning, so to

continues our journey and like the yang to the yin, we move from the heat of summer towards to inward-calling cold of winter...

5 week online group program

starting Sunday, April 3rd 2021.

Investment

AUD$280

What to expect

Same as the above immersion description but for the two remaining seasons of the year. While in our first immersion we moved from late winter through autumn, detoxified our system in a spring cleanse to ready to body for summer and closed our journey learning about the right lifestyle, diet, herbs and self-care for summer, this journey is starting right where we left it off.

Here it is now time to pick back up from the late summer principles, moving through autumn, where we'll incorporate a gentle yet effective and profound autumn detox, rejuvenating, cleansing and priming the body for the new seasonal changes, before we lastly move into winter.

what previous participants say

"...here is a little about my experience.

I found out so much about myself on this cleanse, having been brand new to Ayurveda I learned everything from scratch, including that I am predominantly the Kapha dosha which makes SO much sense. How beautiful it is that a modality such as this, can help you understand yourself so much more, that certain qualities aren't just something you "picked up" but rather are part of your make up, who you are, and what you were gifted with. That in itself was life-changing and allows me still to be so much gentler, and understanding of myself. PRICELESS.

I never realized so many of my symptoms were based on digestion, the main one I have been having a serious amount of heat in my face and upper body...which lessened while on the cleanse. I now know because my digestive system was given a break and some time to restore, other parts of my body reaped the benefits because my body, in general, had the energy to send elsewhere, where it was needed, rather than all of it being used to simply digest the crazy complicated food I was eating.

I enjoyed how I felt on the cleanse and during the immersion: it was nice not always thinking about food and basing my day around what to eat, and so surprising how nourishing it was. The thought of a "cleanse" in the past terrified me and thoughts of starving were enough to turn me off....but eating two nourishing meals a day was plenty (being Kapha I skipped breakfast, otherwise it would have been three).

I loved the kitchiri recipe Lena sent through and just changed up the vegetables here and there. So many things from the immersion are now part of my routine, whether daily, weekly, monthly etc, such as the neti pot, tongue scraping, ginger water, the endless tea recipes to try out as well as epic food inspiration.

I couldn't get over how little bloating and gas I experienced while on the cleanse....my tummy was flat and happy, when I did pass wind it didn't smell. Although I didn't have regular bowel movements while on the Ayurvedic detox week (not at all unusual for me) when I did again the smell as not as intense.

I slowed down, I was grateful for my body and felt so good to give it a much-needed rest. This is something I will have with me forever and changes the way I eat when off the cleanse also. Rather than loading up my plate with every ingredient I can get my hands on (although I eat seasonably anyway) I now know to keep it simple - such an easy (seems obvious now) way to help aid digestion. Fewer ingredients does NOT mean less taste, as I now know. I love the new introduction to aromatic herbs and seeds that I never had tried before and now will become part of my regular diet.

And I love that we have this information forever, I can look back on this at any stage. Even now I am currently on a 3 day cleanse as I snuck back to some old habits, its great knowing I can re-balance myself by coming back to this at any stage. What a gift! This is something I look forward to diving deeper into, learning more about, and applying to my life.

thank you Lena....your wisdom and support is life-changing."

FAQ's

I will not be able to attend all the live calls. Will I still be able to do the cleanse?

Yes absolutely. You will receive recordings into your email inbox of each of the group calls, so you can go through the content and therefore schedule your cleanse in your own time. The idea is to start each guided week off with the group call/recording and the information in the email send out post-call to 'prep and prime' you for the week ahead, so you can be clear on your focus and practices for the next seven days ahead. At the end of that week we'll check in again via a live call/recording to review the week passed, answer questions and prep for the next week ahead and so on.

All recordings will be available for you until 4 weeks after completion of the Ayurveda cleanse & lifestyle immersion.

Can I join the cleanse without having to use any social media platform, like logging into Facebook for materials?

Yes. This journey is based on weekly accountability & content emails and live zoom calls (and their recordings) only. So you can detox from social media during the time of the cleanse as well, if you choose ;)

I am not great going without food for periods of time. Do you think I can do it?

Absolutely. In fact, Ayurveda is all about balance and non-invasive, sustainable and preventative treatment. We will not work with fasting, deprivation, meal replacements or anything along these lines within this cleanse immersion. Rather it is a gentle and nourishing way of cleansing via whole foods while reducing the stress on our digestive system with tasty, simple yet nourishing meals.

What's holding me back from trying an Ayurvedic cleanse is that I think Ayurvedic food is boring/bland/just not my type of food.

Let's clear up some misconceptions. - Ayurvedic does not mean Indian cuisine! While Ayurveda is commonly associated with Indian food, not all Indian food is actually 'healthy' nor 'Ayurvedic'. - Ayurveda simply happened to originate in a place in which the Indian, as well as Hindu culture, is predominant, yet it is not following any dogma, particular religion, culture, nor cuisine. In fact, Ayurveda teaches that everything is about balance and being in sync with your own natural circadian rhythms, which respond to your direct environment. That means that the ideal food and lifestyle choices of a northern European responding to their direct climate, geography and environment is very different to, for example, an Indonesian person. So don't worry that Ayurveda will try to force a 'fad' onto you that does not agree with your culture, stomach, or taste buds - it rather helps you find your own roots and build on them!

In terms of bland - There is no 'one-size fits all' rule in Ayurveda and its cuisine is actually very rich in flavors and spices: different ones for different mind-body types and at different times of the year!

I know about Ayurveda because I have done an Ayurvedic Cleanse before and it doesn't work for me.

This journey is 5 weeks of guidance for a reason - to prepare, do, recover safely, sustainably, supportedly, and step by step. In Ayurveda, nothing is about going in head first or extremes. It does not offer quick fixes. It's not a 'I'm not gonna give a damn about what I put into my body ever, then quickly 'cleanse' for three days and surely will be fine', because nothing of value is being built overnight. Rather through consistency and long-term progress. Ayurveda is a way of life, of living in harmony and balance with your body and your natural needs. It starts with getting to know what these needs are on your individual basis first and reconnecting deeply to your body's innate knowledge, to strengthen your intuition and receive guidance from within. This is what we will be delving into in our five weeks - an initiation into nature wisdom and body balance and trust me - Ayurveda truly works for everyone given a chance, because it is nature.

I'd like to join but finances are holding me back this time around. Are payment plans available?

Yes. If finances are the objection holding you back and you are eager to make a change and elevate holistically, please do reach out to me via email. We can find a payment option that works for you, agreed upon on an individual basis. Please enquire.

Do I need anything additional if I take part in the cleanse?

Yes, you will need some recommended supplemental herbs as well as certain foods during the cleansing period (7 week supply - another great feature of Ayurveda: it is simple and cheap!). You will receive food lists and recipe inspirations in the program.

You may choose to purchase some additional lifestyle and self-care supporting tools, such as abhyanga oil (self-massage), a dry brush, an enema kit, etc. the latter two being optional. You will receive a list of recommended optional items after enrolment.

Will we be learning about herbs, the right foods for us and Ayurvedic rituals and practices?

Ab-so-lu-tely  YES of course! ;) This is what Ayurveda is - wholesome, all-encompassing, wholistic. The wisdom of longevity that nourishes and primes body, mind and soul. Again, Ayurveda is a way of life and 'diet' is only a small component of it.
